Use your 13-digit SIB account number wherever a code asks for the account number. The LF code is the one to use when you need to see whether a specific payment, such as your salary, has landed.
SMS OPTIN and OPTOUT to the same number control SIB’s marketing messages, not your balance service. Opting out of marketing won’t stop balance replies.
SIB Digital app & Online Banking
Log in to SIB Digital or SIB Online Banking and your accounts are listed with their balances. Open an account for its transactions and statement. In Online Banking, Accounts > More options > Account details also shows your IBAN.
If you ever want to remove your account access from the SIB Digital app, request it through the SIB website’s contact page or the call centre. SIB contacts you within 2 business days, and deleting access also removes all user data for that account from your phone.

Keep your details private
SIB will never need your password, OTP, PIN, CVV, card expiry date or full card number in reply to an SMS, email or call. A message asking you to “confirm your balance” with any of these is a scam. Report it on 06 5999999.
When the balance looks wrong
- No SMS reply. Make sure you’re texting from the mobile number registered with SIB and that you’ve registered for SMS banking.
- A transaction you don’t recognise. Call 06 5999999 straight away.
- Salary not credited. Use LF to see the last 5 transactions. If the salary isn’t among them, it hasn’t reached SIB. A salary not received in the UAE case has a set MOHRE process.
