The cinema at Dubai Hills Mall is a 15-screen Roxy multiplex on the first floor, and its headline act is Roxy Xtreme, a screen measuring 28 m by 15.1 m. Tickets cost AED 55 in Silver, AED 182 in Platinum and start at AED 61 on Xtreme.

The small details decide how the evening goes: parking is free but the nearest level holds only 714 bays, tickets cannot be refunded, and several film ratings need proof of age. Below is what to book, how to get in, and which food-and-movie nights run at this branch.

Silver, Platinum & Xtreme: which to book

Book Silver for the lowest price, Xtreme for the biggest screen and Platinum for a meal at your seat. Xtreme costs AED 6 more than Silver, while Platinum costs AED 127 more.

Rows of cinema seats

Silver

Silver is the standard auditorium at AED 55, and seven of the 15 screens are Silver. The seating is stadium-style, food is bought at the concession counter before the film, and Silver carries almost every title. Some releases play only in Silver.

Platinum

Platinum costs AED 182 and also has seven screens. Seats are three-way recliners with a pillow and blanket. You can eat in the Platinum lounge before the film or have food served at your seat during it.

Roxy Xtreme

Roxy Xtreme is the single large-format screen, 423 square metres in size, with laser projection and Dolby Atmos sound. Every seat reclines, and tickets start at AED 61.

Seating comes in three views: Standard, Premium and Director’s Boxes. The three Director’s Boxes sit above the auditorium with 12 seats each, plus wireless charging, seat warmers and waiter service.

Xtreme runs only select titles, mostly big releases and re-releases. For a film that plays on both screens, the AED 6 gap makes Xtreme the better value unless a meal is the point of the night.

Showtimes & opening hours

Doors open at 10:00 AM and the first sessions start from about 10:15 AM. The last session of the night starts around 11:30 PM, and weekend nights add sessions after midnight.

Silver, Platinum and Xtreme sessions are labelled separately on the Dubai Hills showtimes, so a title’s format is clear before you book. Releases come in English, Arabic, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam and Russian, alongside Hollywood and international titles.

How to book tickets

Book through the Roxy website or the ROXY Cinemas UAE app, or buy at the ticketing counter on the day. Online booking works in five steps:

  1. Open the Roxy website or the app (iPhone and Android) and choose Dubai Hills Mall as the cinema.
  2. Pick the film, date and showtime. The format is shown next to each time.
  3. Choose your seats on the seat map.
  4. Add snacks in the app if you want them delivered to your seat.
  5. Pay online. The booking stays in your account.

Tickets are valid only for the date, time and showing they were bought for, so check the day and format before paying.

Parking & getting there

Parking is free, with 7,412 spaces across seven levels, P1 to P7. P4 (Cinema) is the nearest level to the cinema and P1 (Sports) is next.

Your entrance decides which levels you reach:

Coming from Entrance Parking level
Al Khail Road, Sharjah or Dubai Mall side Entrance A P5
Al Khail Road, Abu Dhabi or Emirates Living side Entrance B P3
Umm Suqeim Road, Jumeirah side Entrance B P3
Umm Suqeim Road, Arabian Ranches or Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road Entrance C P1 and P2 to P7
Dubai Hills Estate community Entrances E and F P1

Entrance C is the one that reaches P4 directly. P4 has 714 bays against 2,951 on P1, so P1 is the better fallback when the cinema level is full.

Customer drop-off and valet use Gates 1 to 4 on the Dubai Hills Estate side. The taxi holding area is on P1 on the Umm Suqeim side, below the hypermarket.

Offers & special nights

Popcorn at the cinema

Roxy runs several fixed deals at this branch:

  • Bank offers: buy one ticket and get one free with HSBC, Arab Bank, FAB and Citibank cards.
  • Sunday roast: every Sunday the Platinum lounge serves a roast with pudding, potatoes, carrots and gravy, sold with a Platinum ticket.
  • Ladies Night: a monthly Platinum screening for women only, with unlimited mocktails, a main course and popcorn.
  • Immersive dining: a five-course menu told through projection mapping and live performance, at AED 299 per person. Book at least 30 minutes before showtime and arrive 10 to 15 minutes early.

Age limits & ticket rules

Ratings decide who can enter a film, and the cinema can ask for proof of age at the door:

  • G films suit all ages, PG13 and PG15 are parental-guidance ratings, and 15+, 18+ and 21+ admit only viewers of that age or older.
  • Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult aged at least 21 who holds a valid ticket.
  • Bring a valid ID, such as an Emirates ID or passport, for any film with an age limit.

Every ticket is final: refunds, transfers and exchanges are not offered, and lost or stolen tickets are not replaced. Outside food and drink are not allowed, and filming the screen gets you removed from the cinema without a refund.
