The quickest way to reach a Commercial Bank of Dubai (CBD) ATM or branch is the bank’s official Branch & ATM Locator. It filters by branch, ATM, cash deposit, cheque deposit and 24-hour access, and it shows opening times for every result. Google Maps or Apple Maps then takes you to the door.
Standard CBD branches open 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM Monday to Thursday and Saturday, and 7:30 AM to 12:30 PM on Friday. They are closed on Sunday. An ATM inside a branch lobby follows those hours, while a machine flagged 24 hours does not.

Match the machine to your errand
Pick the filters by what you need to do, not by the closest pin on the map:
- Cash after branch hours: tick 24 hours and Cash Dispenser.
- Cash deposit after 3:30 PM or on Sunday: tick 24 hours and Cash Deposit. The daily deposit limit still applies.
- Cheque deposit: tick Cheque Deposit. Not every ATM has this feature, so a plain ATM pin can leave you stuck.
- Bill payment without a CBD account: tick Bill Payment (By Cash).
- Bill payment or transfer from your account: tick Bill Payment (By Account) or Fund Transfer (By Account). These need a CBD account.

Friday closes at 12:30 PM, three hours earlier than the rest of the week, so aim to arrive before noon. Branches inside malls set their own hours, so a mall location can open later and close later than the table above.
In Dubai, the Main Branch is on Ittihad Street in Port Saeed, Deira, behind Deira City Centre. Another branch is on Al Mankhool Road in Bur Dubai, opposite Al Khaleej Centre. What CBD ATMs can do
Cash & cheque deposits
Only machines with a cash deposit facility take cash, so tick Cash Deposit in the locator. The daily cash deposit limit at CBD ATMs is AED 40,000 for the Personal segment and AED 10,000 for the Direct segment.
The limit decides where you go. Depositing AED 15,000 fits an ATM if you are in the Personal segment, but a Direct segment customer needs a teller at a branch. Anything above your limit goes to the counter during branch hours.
You can also pay a CBD credit card bill in cash at the cash deposit machines in branches. Customers without a CBD account can settle a card bill there, through an exchange house, or by local transfer.
Bill payments & transfers
Not every ATM function is open to everyone:
- Bill payment by cash works for CBD customers and non-customers.
- Bill payment by account is for CBD customers only.
- Fund transfer by account is for CBD customers only.
Cardless withdrawal
The CBD app generates a one-time withdrawal code, which lets you take out up to AED 2,000 a day from any CBD ATM without your card. This helps when the card is at home and the nearest branch is shut.

What to do if the ATM is inside a closed branch
Move to a machine that is flagged 24 hours. Switch the locator to ATMs, tick 24 hours, and pick the nearest result that is not marked Inside lobby.
Other problems have their own fixes:
- Card kept by the ATM or left in it: call 600 575 556. The line takes these calls at any time.
- Failed transaction at a branch ATM: tell branch staff during business hours, or call the same number straight away.
- Deposit above the ATM limit or a cheque that needs a teller: go to a branch on its next open day. Saturday counts.
- Lost or stolen card: block it in the CBD app or call 600 575 556.
