The UAE has no single prepaid card inquiry service, and the channel depends on who issued the card. Ratibi and NBAD-branded cards use the Magnati portal, LuLu Exchange and Al Rostamani salary cards use their own apps, and RAKBANK prepaid cards use an SMS code.

Ratibi & NBAD-branded cards: the Magnati portal
Open the Magnati prepaid card inquiry portal, which FAB uses for Ratibi balance enquiries.
- Enter the last 4 digits of your card number.
- Enter your Card ID.
- Type the captcha.
- Tap Go.
The portal asks for nothing else. It never needs your full card number, PIN, date of birth or an OTP, so a page that asks for those is not the official one. The guide to finding your Card ID shows where the number sits on the card.
Other ways to check a Ratibi balance:
- Payit app: FAB’s wallet app, useful when FAB Mobile does not show the card.

- Ratibi helpline: 600 52 2298 inside the UAE, +971 2 499 6279 from abroad. The call centre runs 24/7.

LuLu Exchange cards
Open the LuLu Money app, tap LuLu Money Cards on the Home screen (or More, then My Cards), and read the available balance on the virtual card at the top. The My Pay My Card guide covers activation and the fees.
Al Rostamani Rpay & C3 cards
Install the Al Rostamani Int Exchange app, register with your Emirates ID and open Rpay / C3 Balance Check. Customer care is on 600 540 004 inside the UAE.
RAKBANK Prepaid Card: the portal is closed
RAKBANK shut its prepaid card portal on 10 December 2025, so an old bookmark leads nowhere. Here is how you can check RAKBANK prepaid card balance now:
- Balance: send SMS
BAL, a space and your Card ID to 2737 from your registered mobile number, or call 600 54 4049. - Transactions: a monthly e-statement goes to your registered email, starting from the January 2026 statement date.
- Lost card or suspected fraud: call 600 54 4049 straight away.
Both the SMS and the e-statement depend on your contact details. A mobile number changes only at a branch, with your original Emirates ID.
Government-linked prepaid cards
FAB issues the Abu Dhabi Pay, RAK Pay and UAQ Pay cards, and their support line is separate from the Ratibi one. Call Government Cards Support on 600 500 201, or +971 2 499 6125 from abroad. Other FAB prepaid cards, such as the DWallet, Payment and Gift cards, go through FAB customer service on 600 52 5500.
If the balance shows zero or the salary is missing
